Community Support Worker - Naracoorte

Boandik Community Care is a provider of aged care and disability services and is seeking applications for community support staff in the Naracoorte area. Boandik is an NDIS registered provider.

We are seeking people who:

  • Have aged care/disability qualifications or relevant experience
  • Have a current National Police Check/NDIS Worker Check
  • Have a current Senior First Aid certificate
  • Have a current SA driver’s licence

Quality Coordinator

Boandik is a leading provider of services for older people and those living with a disability in the South East of South Australia.

The Quality Coordinator is pivotal to ensuring positive consumer outcomes and the provision of safe, quality care and services at Boandik. Central to the role are the Australian Aged Care Quality Standards, and the Quality Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the application of these standards across all functions of the organisation. This will be done with a focus on the implementation and maintenance of systems and processes including internal audits, surveys, trend analysis, performance reviews and corrective actions to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

This position is permanent part-time, 22 hours per week.

    Communications Coordinator

    Boandik is a leading provider of services for older people and those living with a disability in the South East of South Australia.

    Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Communications Coordinator is a key player in Boandik’s media, marketing and public relations portfolio. The Communications Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and building the Boandik brand and communicating our objectives ad hoc and through targeted campaigns. There will be a strong focus on maintaining external communication channels and collaborating with others in the workplace to coordinate sponsorship, fundraising and promotional activities.

    This position is permanent part-time, 30 hours per week.

    Personal Care Assistant positions

    Exciting opportunities exist for Personal Care Assistants to join the Boandik team.

    Our care model focuses on abilities, promoting well-being and encouraging independence, choice and decision making to clients throughout the Boandik community.

    You will be required to have the following qualifications, experience and/or skills:

    • Certificate III in Individual Support
    • Assist Clients with Medication
    • Current national police certificate
    • Current first aid certificate
    • Sound literacy, communication and computer skills
    • Empathy with and understanding of aged people
    • Initiative and self-motivation
