Personal care assistant positions Penola area- Boandik Community Care

Boandik Community Care are seeking expressions of interest for Community Care Staff in the Penola area. The successful applicants will deliver a range of aged care services to clients within the client’s home (personal care, domestic assistance, check visits, appointment support, transport, social support and shopping). Positions are also available for domestic work only.

We are seeking people who:

  • Have Aged Care/Community Aged Care/Disability qualifications
  • Show understanding and empathy with aged people
  • Have a National Police Check
  • Have a current Senior First Aid certificate
  • Have a current SA driver’s licence
  • Have a compatible smart phone.

This is a casual position which includes some weekend work.

Case Manager

An exciting opportunity to join a cohesive team as a part-time Case Manager with Boandik Community Care, Mt Gambier. Boandik Community Care provides home care services to older people and people living with a disability across the Limestone Coast. We are committed to providing individualised services that enable clients to live as they choose, in their own home. We encourage applications from people who:

  • Are good communicators
  • Have empathy and understanding for all people
  • Have sound IT and administration skills including use of Microsoft programs
  • Work effectively in a team and independently
  • Are motivated and able to organise and prioritise their work
  • Have qualifications and experience in case management, service coordination and/or nursing.

Some out of hours on-call work will apply and a driver’s licence is essential.
