An exciting opportunity exists to join the allied health team at Boandik. The position is based in Mount Gambier working collaboratively within the allied health team to provide therapy services across Boandik’s residential homes and community programs.
This is a permanent part-time position of 72 hours per fortnight.
Responsibilities will include:
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team across residential and community environments.
Working under the direction and supervision of our Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist
Support the implementation of allied health interventions, treatment plans, programs and services for individuals and groups to promote a more independent lifestyle
Assist with the management and prioritisation of therapy referrals.
Source, order and educate in the use of assistive equipment.
Undertake all required documentation and reporting
Maintain allied health storage areas
We encourage applications from people who have:-
Cert III in Allied Health Assistant or an equivalent qualification or experience
Demonstrated computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications.
Empathy, understanding and respect for each individual
Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Good time management skills and the ability to work independently and in a team
A current National Police Check
A current SA drivers licence
A senior first aid certificate
